"Mhmz, looks like Rachel is going to get her second partner!" Dorumon said nodding his head in approval.
"Reminds me when I joined you two!" Gomamon said wiping away a tear.
"Hmph... So a digimon that we defeat goes back to in-training and may join people..." Lisa said trying to comprehend everything in the weird world... "Gratz Rachel anyway!"

Digi-revert? How would something like that work anyway? thought Rachel, again trying to wrap her mind around this really weird world. Stupid Rachel. This would just be so much easier if you just accepted the fact weird things happen here, and don't question why they do.
The pink blob then asked to join Rachel, and she stared, shocked. Surely Lisa was a better choice of tamer than her, but she wasn't about to argue with a pink blob that used to be a giant bug that attacked them. It sounded like something that could easily get her hurt.
"Uh...sure," she said, figuring this was like how Lisa had two digimon. "There's always room for more." Motimon looked happy at the acceptance, while Gabumon jumped up and down, hugging his new...digimon companion.
"I have a new companion! I have a new companion!" celebrated Gabumon. He looked way too happy.
"Thanks," said Rachel to Lisa, after her Gabumon stopped shouting. "Though yeah, this is weird...why would defeating them cause them to revert like that?"

Lisa replied, "Not much of an idea... But it's good knowing that they aren't really evil inside and can be our friends!". Lisa grinning and then welcomed Motimon to the team.
Dorumon and Gomamon did likewise adding their own personal introductions.
"In a day of the weird Digital World, it sure has been exciting!" Lisa commented and laughed.
"Action-packed and all!" Gomamon said.
"Mhmz!" Dorumon agreed.
"What's your opinion of the Digital World so far, Rachel?" Dorumon asked her curiously.

"True," said Rachel, "I guess they're not all evil. It's a nice thought." She stroked Gabumon's fur, while staring at her new digimon.
"Yep," said Gabumon. "I had so much fun and excitement today. I wonder what other cool adventures we'll end up having."
"We'll have to see," said Motimon, not saying much else.
Rachel shrugged as Lisa asked her opinion over this world. It's weird was the first thought that popped up, but really, there was far more to it than that. "It's definitely different from back home," she admitted. "I was pretty lonely there, and now I have all this company." She shook off those thoughts. "Not to mention all this freaky stuff. I mean we have these creatures that can change form, and have various powers. Not to mention these so-called enemies turning out to be...not-enemies once we beat them." She shrugged her shoulders. "It will definitely take some getting used to."

"What's the shock about?" Dorumon asked casually.
"You haven't seen a city before?" Gomamon asked.
"No... I'm just surprised that you Digimon have cities too..." Lisa replied.
"Cities, villages, we got them... I don't really get your surprise but ok!" Gomamon said somersaulting.
"You want to head there or rest, Rachel?" Lisa asked her.

"Yeah..." agreed Rachel. "I wasn't expecting a city here either." She shook her head, trying to get everything straight. She had assumed that the digital world wouldn't be advanced enough for cities, but apparently she was wrong. Again. Maybe she should just stop bringing her assumptions with her.
"I don't get the surprise either," said Gabumon. "It's just a normal city, silly tamer of mine."
"Is this a normal occurance?" asked Motimon, looking between all the others. Seeing confusion, he elaborated. "I mean, you guys interacting this way."
"Perfectly normal," said Gabumon. "You're going to have to get used to our weird tamer if you're staying with us."
"We might as well head over there," said Rachel. "To be honest, I'm a bit curious if cities in this world are different. And my digimon seem fine right now."

"You coming to Devan?" Lisa asked him.
"You can come too if you want." Gomamon pitched in with a somersault.
"What's with your somersaults?" Dorumon asked him amused.
"No idea... But it's fun!" Gomamon said laughing.

"Sure, we can go to the city." As you walk you see a giant sign that says "Welcome to Tamer City." " Oh, we're in tamer city! I've heard of this place. I hear they have a digi-arena." After a little while of walking, you finally get there.

"Tamer City?" Lisa said in awe. "More humans!"
"Digi-Arena?" Dorumon asked eagerly.
"Battle time!" Gomamon celebrated and did a somersault!
"I wonder what else is in the city..." Lisa said. "With tamers there, there shouldn't be any bad digimon attacking us at least!" she grinned.
"C'mon people! Let's get going!" Dorumon said.

Tamer City? What kind of place is that supposed to be? thought Rachel, as they entered the city. She didn't know why. You'd think something familiar would make her feel better, but it only served to make her even more nervous. And what was a digi arena supposed to be anyway?
Then something Lisa said registered, and she turned around. "Other tamers here?" she asked. "Are you sure they're friendly tamers?" After their wacky first day, she wouldn't be surprised if they did get attacked in this peaceful place.
"Oh come on, Rachel," said Gabumon, pulling at his human. "Let's go check out the city and the digi-arena." He then looked at Rachel's face. "Haha. You don't even know what that is either, do you?" Rachel's glare at him was enough of an answer. Motimon stayed silent, just watching the display.

Lisa tried to brighten the mood.
"Well... I guess it sounds like a place where digimon and tamers fight in a 'friendly' way. At least I hope friendly." Lisa said.
"Yeah... from the words Digi Arena." Gomamon said.

Well.... thought Rachel, that was kinda obvious. Of course, the thought of the arena still scared her, but she blamed that on her past encounters with digimon. Come on Rachel, not all digimon out there are bad guys. Same for tamers.
"I'd like to check it out," said Motimon at last. "We might as well since we're here."
"And get attacked by even more digimon?" asked Gabumon. "As much as I love battles, today was a bit...hectic battle-wise."

"Action-packed and more!" Gomamon said somersaulting once again.
"So shouldn't we find a place to heal and all?" Lisa asked.
"Healing and resting sounds good now." Gomamon said, tired of somersaulting.

"Yes," agreed Rachel. "We should definitely find a place to rest up for the time being. Don't worry Gabumon, you'll be feeling better soon." Or at least she hoped so. She was still half-expecting to get attacked in the city.
"I'm not worried," said Gabumon, "though yea, resting and healing would be welcome."
"I suppose we should for the time being," said Motimon.
"Then it's settled," said Rachel. "Is there an inn or something around this city?"
